Hendri is a passionate actor and voice artist based in Cape Town, fluent in both Afrikaans and English. His journey started with completing an Advanced Certificate in Acting for Film at Act Cape Town Film Academy in 2022, where he had the privilege to be guided by some of the industry’s most notable figures such as Nicola Hanekom, Grant Swanby, and Carishma Basday.

During his studies, he featured in his first international production for a History Channel documentary series, “Abraham Lincoln”. Hendri featured in local series and international ad productions after completing his studies. In 2023, Hendri was a guest actor on KykNet soap, “Suidooster”, where he portrait the role of Jabes, a farmer from Namibia.

Aside from his film and TV work, he is also a performing waiter at Stardust Theatrical Dining. Hendri has played key roles in popular productions such as “Grease”, “The Rocky Horror Picture show”, “Chicago” and “Hairspray”. In 2023, he landed a supporting role in the radio drama “Hex”, directed by Martyn Le Roux. He brought his signature style and talent to the role of “Phillip”.

He is committed to improving his craft and expanding his skill set, and he is thrilled to be part of the vibrant acting and voice artistry industry in South Africa. With his passion and experience, he is confident that he can continue to make a positive impact in the industry.
